What to expect when you’re expecting E3 2015

The Electronic Entertainment Expo never fails to be a sensory overload-inducing orgy of big-budget games featuring big guns, loud explosions, and lots of violence (and a few artsy indie games for good measure). This year's show promises to be even more overloaded with news than usual, with a few press conferences from unexpected players and a big focus on virtual and augmented reality firms gearing up for coming consumer launches.

Here's a quick round-up of what we're expecting, hoping for, and skeptical of seeing after we touch down in Los Angeles on Sunday, arranged in chronological press conference order.
