A number of solid laptops are on sale for this holiday weekend, and you can snag those savings right now on devices like Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon, the HP Spectre x360 13, and Dell Vostro laptops.
A higher-end model of Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Carbon 7th-gen is down to $1,499: it includes a 10th-gen Core i7 processor, a 1080p display with Privacy Guard, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. Considering the 7th-gen laptop typically starts around $1,400, this deal reduces the price of a model with a more powerful processor and more memory and storage than the base model.
The same can be said for a higher-end model of the HP Spectre x360 13: now you can get one with a Core i7 processor, a 1080p touchscreen, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD plus 32GB of Optane Memory for just $949. HP has a habit of discounting the base mode of the Spectre x360 13 to around $700, but it's rare that more powerful models go on sale for less than $1,000. In general, it's worth snagging a flagship laptop, especially when it has extra memory and storage, when the price gets this low.
